November 2025

A few weeks ago, we announced that Tower Two had once again achieved strong NABERS results for Energy and Water performance. Today, we are pleased to share that Tower Three has also received its updated NABERS ratings and both towers have delivered consistently high scores across all categories.

Since 1998, NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) has provided simple, reliable and comparable sustainability measurement, delivering trusted ratings across building sectors like offices, hotels, shopping centres and apartments.

Over the years NABERS has proven its motto that “what gets measured, gets managed”, with partners recording a reduction in energy use by an average of 30% to 40% over a 10-year period.

Tower Two & Tower Three 5.5 stars for water management

The NABERS water rating looks at the amount of water used and recycled within a building, scrutinising real water data to:

  • Assess water efficiency & potential for savings
  • Track progress of initiatives & their impact
  • Evaluate performance & commitment to water efficiency

Tower Two & Tower Three 5.5 stars for energy efficiency

The NABERS energy rating is based on real energy data, taking into consideration real-world factors like differing air-con and heating use across Australia to:

  • Assess energy efficiency & potential for savings
  • Track progress of initiatives & their impacts
  • Evaluate performance & commitment to energy efficiency

Tower Two & Tower Three 6 stars for indoor environment

The NABERS Indoor Environment (IE) rating is based on independent data — measuring real-world indoor air quality, lighting, thermal comfort, and acoustics to:

  • Assess indoor environment quality and potential improvements
  • Benchmark your building against similar ones and track progress over time
  • Demonstrate commitment to occupant health, wellbeing, comfort and sustainability

Participating in NABERS is one of the many ways International Towers relentlessly measures, understands and communicates the environmental performance of the buildings you and the rest of our much-loved community live your professional life – as we pursue best-practice sustainable buildings that are not only better for the planet, but also happier, healthier spaces that we can all thrive in.
