Damulay Ngurang: Mother's Day

Damulay Ngurang means friendship place in local Sydney language and that’s exactly what this event is all about.

Building friendship and connection through appreciation and celebration of mothers, parents and caregivers via a fun morning of dance, ceremony and craft this Mother’s Day.

Instead of spoiling your mum with breakfast in bed, start her special day at Damulay Ngurang, our free First Nation’s Mother’s Day morning celebration at Walumil Lawns, Barangaroo and join in a range of activities including:

  • a welcome smoking ceremony,
  • interactive Aboriginal dance performances,
  • weaving workshops,
