Balls, bibs and goals are ready for all to come and play at the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ 2023 Unity Pitch

To celebrate the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ 2023 coming to home soil, Barangaroo will host the Unity Pitch!

Located at the Central Activation Area off Wulugul Walk, the Unity Pitch is a multi-coloured football pitch which represents the two unique local cultures of Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand), and the coming together of the 32 nations participating in the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ 2023. 

Open from 12pm to 7pm daily between 20 July - 20 August with a fun, vibrant program of football activities, the pitch will be available for use by the public, teams, organisations, sporting and community groups.

There will also be the Barangaroo Unity Cup, a knockout tournament for 32 teams, held on the Unity Pitch during allocated times on weekdays during lunch. See the link below to register your team. Balls, bibs and goals are ready for all to come and play!

Get your friends and colleagues together and show us your skills at the Barangaroo Unity Cup! The Barangaroo Unity Cup knockout tournament will host 32 Teams of 5 players each to compete for the champion title. The winners will take home FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 merchandise, but most importantly bragging rights around the office.

Welcome to anyone, no matter what skill level, select a time slot that works for you, and book the pitch for your own group training session, a kick around with your mates, or a game amongst colleagues.

In 2023, fans will see 32 nations playing 64 matches across nine host cities in Australia and New Zealand for the first time in Women's World Cup history. The tournament – which is held from 20 July to 20 August 2023 – will embody Australia’s passion for women’s football and provide Australians with the opportunity to watch, and be inspired by, the best footballers in the world
