Put your sustainability knowledge to the test and compete for great prizes
Celebrate Plastic Free July with Quack Down on Waste, an interactive sustainability challenge designed to test your knowledge while encouraging positive environmental action.
Delivered by Foresight, this fun activation combines a duck fishing game with sustainability trivia, giving participants the opportunity to learn more about waste reduction and circular living. Simply register via the Amica QR code, cast your line and hook a duck to reveal your question. Correct answers earn points, with the highest scorers taking home Barangaroo retail vouchers.
The top three participants across each activation will win:
- 1st Prize: $150 Barangaroo retail voucher
- 2nd Prize: $100 Barangaroo retail voucher
- 3rd Prize: $50 Barangaroo retail voucher

Terms & Conditions
In accordance with the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020, the following Terms and Conditions apply to the Wasteball Challenge activation.
- The competition is open to Amica members only.
- Participants must redeem the activation through Amica and present their QR code at the Dimeo booth within one hour of redemption to participate.
- Limited to one entry per person.
- The competition will be held on:
- Tuesday 28 July 2026, 11:00am to 2:00pm, Tower Three South Lobby.
- Wednesday 29 July 2026, 11:00am to 2:00pm, Tower Two South Lobby.
- Participants must answer waste and recycling questions before attempting the basketball challenge.
- Scores will be based on the number of correct answers. The three highest scoring participants at each activation will receive prizes.
- In the event of a tie, the winner(s) will be selected at random from the tied participants.
- Prizes are:
- 1st Prize: $150 Barangaroo retail voucher
- 2nd Prize: $100 Barangaroo retail voucher
- 3rd Prize: $50 Barangaroo retail voucher
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- If an advertised prize becomes unavailable, Building Management reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
- Incorrect, incomplete or fraudulent entries may be deemed invalid.
- Prize collection will be coordinated by a member of the Building Management Team.
- By participating, entrants agree to take part in reasonable promotional activity, including photography or videography associated with the event.
- Building Management reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel the competition if required.
- This competition does not require a permit under NSW legislation.
