This Friday, International Towers will be illuminated in purple to mark Wear It Purple Day, an annual event dedicated to fostering supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for LGBTQIA+ young people.
First established in 2010, Wear It Purple Day is now celebrated nationally as a reminder of the positive impact we can have when we stand together. It calls on schools, workplaces and communities to demonstrate that every young person has the right to be proud of who they are.
We invite our community to wear purple and join us in showing visible support, solidarity and allyship. By participating, we not only light up our Towers, but also help to shine a light on the importance of acceptance and belonging.
At International Towers, we are proud to stand with LGBTQIA+ youth and continue building a workplace where everyone feels valued, celebrated and safe.
