UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls. A panel conversation on digital safety, financial security and community resilience.

This year’s UNiTE campaign theme, End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls, highlights the urgent need to address technology-facilitated abuse, including online harassment, coercive control, financial exploitation and threats that occur across digital spaces. As part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, this focus calls on individuals, organisations and communities to create safer digital and physical environments for women and girls.

On Wednesday, 3 December, our community is invited to a live panel conversation at the Cuppa Co-Lab, where speakers will explore how innovation, leadership and collective action can disrupt cycles of digital and financial abuse. This session will examine how technology can both protect and harm, and how we can design systems that prioritise safety, dignity and resilience.

To support this global movement, International Towers will also be lighting up the towers, creating a visible symbol of solidarity and commitment to a future free from violence.

Why It Matters

Digital violence against women and girls is one of the fastest-growing forms of gender-based harm. Addressing it now helps prevent future risk, protect wellbeing and ensure that technology becomes a force for equality rather than a channel for abuse. This conversation invites our community to listen, learn and take action toward creating safer experiences online and offline.
