Designing for Inclusion: Creating Spaces Where Every Voice Can Be Heard with Shaheen

Written by International Towers | Oct 27, 2026, 1:26:50 AM

Who was the workplace designed for?

What would be possible if our workplaces, learning environments and leadership practices were designed so that everyone could fully participate, contribute and thrive?

When:  Wednesday, 18 November 2026, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM AEDT

In this thought-provoking conversation, inclusive learning designer and facilitator Shaheen explores how leaders can move beyond good intentions and create environments that are genuinely equitable and inclusive by design. As neurodivergence, cultural diversity and Indigenous ways of knowing become increasingly visible in our organisations and communities, the need for more intentional and inclusive practices has never been greater.

Drawing on more than 13 years of experience across learning and development, education and purpose-led organisations, Shaheen shares practical insights for embedding inclusion into the way we design programs, make decisions and lead people. Combining academic expertise, professional practice and lived experience, she offers a powerful framework for helping leaders navigate systems that were never originally designed with inclusion in mind.

This conversation will be particularly valuable for learning and development professionals, HR leaders, organisational development practitioners, facilitators and anyone responsible for creating workplace programs, learning experiences or people-centred initiatives.
