Throughout the entire month of November, Movember shines a spotlight on men’s health, focusing on mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer awareness.
Just as our towers stand tall in Sydney’s skyline, this Movember we are standing tall for men’s health. Together with our community of tenants and partners, we are raising awareness and funds for the one in six Australian men diagnosed with prostate cancer and the countless others facing mental health challenges.
Growing awareness for men’s health
What began as a small idea among friends in Melbourne has grown into an international movement tackling some of the most significant health challenges facing men today, from prostate and testicular cancer to mental health and suicide prevention.
Running from 1–30 November, Movember encourages people to take part in simple yet powerful actions that inspire conversation and drive change. Whether it is growing a moustache, committing to move 60 kilometres in honour of the 60 men lost to suicide every hour, or hosting a workplace event, every effort helps shine a light on men’s wellbeing.
Why Movember matters
Men, on average, live four to five years less than women, and many of these deaths are preventable. Movember helps fund vital research, early detection, and mental health programs that empower men to take charge of their wellbeing.
A simple conversation can save a life, and a moustache can start that conversation. Join us this Movember to raise awareness, start meaningful discussions, and help build a healthier future for all men.
