Mindfulness for Strivers: Thriving Without Burning Out

Written by International Towers | Oct 17, 2025 6:35:19 AM

Hosted by Chibs Okereke

Chibs Okereke has guided millions of people worldwide through his meditations and mindfulness practices, becoming one of the leading voices on the Calm and Calm Health apps as well as his popular YouTube channel.

High achievers often push hard, achieve more, and carry great responsibility—but this relentless drive can leave little space for rest, reflection, and balance. Mindfulness offers a way to reset. By cultivating awareness, presence, and compassion, we can step out of autopilot, break cycles of overachievement, and create a more sustainable path to success.

In this highly interactive 60-minute workshop, Chibs will guide participants through the Mindfulness for Strivers framework. Combining science-backed techniques with practical meditation practices, this session is designed to help ambitious professionals build resilience, reduce stress, and find clarity—without slowing down their impact.

When: 12pm Thursday 23rd October
Where: The Arbour, Level 2, Tower Three International Towers

Through a blend of guided meditation, short reflective exercises, and group discussion, participants will:

  • Experience how mindfulness shifts focus from stress to calm in real time
  • Learn practical strategies to regulate the nervous system and quiet the inner critic
  • Explore how mindfulness can reframe success from relentless striving to purposeful achievement
  • Practise accessible meditation techniques they can continue using daily

By the end of the session, participants will not only understand the science and power of mindfulness but will also leave with practical tools —ready to apply mindfulness in their work and life straight away.
