Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

In the context of commercial buildings, ESG refers to the consideration and integration of environmental, social, and governance factors into the design, construction, operation, and management of the building.

ESG principles aim to create sustainable and responsible buildings that have a positive impact on the environment, society, and stakeholders.

International Towers is a commercial building complex in Barangaroo, Sydney and comprises three high-rise towers. Our ESG strategy is relevant to Tower Two, Tower Three and International House and it ensures our buildings' sustainability and alignment with global best practices.

This focuses on reducing the environmental impact of the buildings and improving resource efficiency. It involves our energy-efficient systems, utilising renewable energy sources, minimising waste generation, promoting water conservation, and integrating sustainable materials and construction practices.

This aspect considers the social impact of the buildings on the community and occupants. It involves creating a healthy and comfortable indoor environment, providing amenities and services that promote well-being and productivity, fostering inclusivity and accessibility, and engaging the local community through initiatives and partnerships.

Governance refers to the responsible management and governance practices of the building owners and operators. It includes transparent and ethical decision-making, adherence to mandatory regulatory requirements, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and accountability.
