General Rules

All items listed on Amica Loop must meet the following requirements:

• Items must be in good, usable condition and safe for another person to use.
• Items must be clean and hygienic.
• Donors must provide an accurate description of the item's condition.
• Any damage, defects, stains, missing parts, or signs of wear must be clearly disclosed.
• Items must be free from recalls, safety hazards, and illegal content.
• All items must be donated for free. Amica Loop must not be used for selling items or requesting payment.
• Amica does not inspect, test, or guarantee donated items. Donors and recipients are responsible for assessing the condition and suitability of each item.

Fashion & Accessories

Accepted Items

• Clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery, watches, scarves, and other fashion accessories.
• Items that are clean, wearable, and free from significant damage.

Items Not Accepted

• Heavily stained, damaged, mouldy, or unhygienic clothing.
• Used underwear, used swimwear, or other intimate garments.
• Counterfeit or imitation branded goods.

Home & Living

Accepted Items

• Home décor, kitchenware, storage items, household accessories, and small household items that are easy to carry and hand over.
• Small appliances that are clean, safe, and in working condition.

Items Not Accepted

• Large or bulky furniture or household items that require assembly or disassembly, such as beds, wardrobes, large shelving units, desks, dining tables, or sofas.
• Items that are too large or heavy to be easily carried by one or two people.
• Broken, unsafe, heavily damaged, or infested items.
• Mattresses, pillows, or other items that cannot be reasonably cleaned or hygienically reused.
• Items containing hazardous materials.

Tech & Electronics

Accepted Items

• Phones, tablets, computers, monitors, keyboards, headphones, chargers, cables, and other electronics that are in working condition.
• Items with known faults, provided the faults are clearly disclosed in the listing.

Before Donating

• Remove all personal data and accounts before donating.
• Reset devices and ensure they are no longer linked to personal accounts, where applicable.

Items Not Accepted

• Damaged batteries or devices that present a safety risk.
• Recalled or unsafe electrical products.
• Items containing personal or confidential information that cannot be removed.

Books & Media

Accepted Items

• Books, magazines, board games, video games, vinyl records, DVDs, CDs, and similar media.
• Items that are complete and in reasonable condition.

Items Not Accepted

• Items with significant mould, water damage, or infestation.
• Incomplete games or items missing essential components, unless the missing components are clearly disclosed.
• Pirated or illegally copied media.

Kids & Family

Accepted Items

• Children's clothing, toys, books, games, and other family-related items that are clean and safe to use.

Items Not Accepted

• Baby car seats, booster seats, cots, or other safety-critical equipment unless they are demonstrably safe, compliant, and within their recommended service life.
• Recalled, broken, or damaged toys or children's products.
• Items with small parts that may present a safety risk to young children, unless appropriately labelled.

Sport & Hobby

Accepted Items

• Sports equipment, fitness accessories, outdoor gear, craft supplies, musical instruments, games, and hobby equipment.
• Equipment that is clean, safe, and functional.

Items Not Accepted

• Damaged equipment that could cause injury.
• Expired safety equipment or protective gear.
• Items containing hazardous substances or materials.
• Weapons or items intended to cause harm.

Other Items

Items that do not fit into any of the categories above may be donated provided they:

• Are clean, safe, legal, and in usable condition.
• Do not pose a health, safety, or environmental risk.
• Are reasonably easy to carry and hand over within the tower.
• Are accurately described in the listing.

Listing Removal

Amica reserves the right to remove any listing that does not comply with these guidelines or that may be unsuitable for the Amica community.
