FULLY BOOKED | Cook with purpose. Share with heart.
Join Anjali's Two Good Co. Masterclass and learn the potato curry that built her confidence, one fragrant pan at a time.
As part of our commitment to embedding social sustainability into the everyday workplace experience, we’re proud to partner with Two Good Co and support their Work Work program — a purpose-driven initiative creating employment, training and pathways to stability for women who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence and complex trauma.
On Wednesday 27 May, Anjali, a Work Work alumna, will bring her much-loved potato curry and roti masterclass to International Towers. It’s a recipe she has been cooking since she was fourteen years old, first prepared for her sister returning home from school, and now shared with our community through a meaningful experience centred on food, connection and storytelling.

A story behind every step
Anjali came to Two Good Co. as a single mother of three. She describes herself before the program as shy and quiet, never opening her mouth except to smile. Through the Work Work program, and the daily ritual of cooking shelter meals alongside mentors and a team that listened, she found her voice. Today, she's studying at TAFE, working, and as she puts it, she can have a conversation, shake hands, and hug people.
Cooking, for Anjali, is stress relief. It's caring for people. It's how she makes her sister and her kids feel better when they're sad. This masterclass is an invitation into that same feeling. Gathered around a table, learning something new, and supporting the program that helped her get here.
What you'll learn
Across the session, Anjali will guide you through her family potato curry, with fennel and mustard seeds, curry leaves, cardamom, fresh ginger and coriander, paired with roti made from scratch. You'll knead, roll, and cook the roti on the pan until it bubbles golden, then plate everything up together. It's hands-on, generous, and approachable, no matter where you are in your cooking journey.
May we cook with them. May we learn from them. May we keep showing up. A small act. A shared meal. A real difference.
