Barangaroo Cup Clinched in Thrilling Penalty Shootout Showdown

And the winner is...

Last week, we witnessed a remarkable display of competition as numerous teams vied for supremacy at the Barangaroo Unity Pitch, fuelled by their determination to secure coveted spots for the finals week.

Congratulations to teams HSBC Internazionale and It’s Gettin' Messi for making it to the Barangaroo Unity Cup Finals, that were played on the Forecourt of the Sydney Opera House, after a last minute location change.

Team It's Getting Messi (KPMG) were the winners of the Barangaroo Unity Cup defeating HSBC Internazionale in a penalty shootout after the game was tied 1 – 1 at full time.

What a game! It has been a pleasure hosting the Barangaroo Cup at the Unity Pitch and seeing our community come together in celebration of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. Thank you to all of the teams involved and everyone that came along to watch during the competition.
