Borrow by Huskee is a free, app-based system that lets you borrow cups from participating cafés. With a quick scan using the Borrow app, you can grab a cup, enjoy your drink, and return it to a smart bin — located throughout International Towers lobbies, shared services, and tenant floors.

The cups are then collected, sanitised, and returned into circulation — making reuse easy and accessible for everyone in the precinct.

The system is designed to fit how people actually live. It solves the problem of forgetting your own cup by offering one on the spot, and allows for a more convenient return than single-use options.

The app sends helpful reminders, tracks your impact, and even rewards you for taking part. When something is simple, it’s more likely to become a habit — and habits are what shift the bigger picture.

Already in use across cafés and councils, Borrow by Huskee has supported over 31,000 users — including attendees at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo 2025.
