Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the end-of-trip upgrade taking place?

To unify the current facilities, creating an all-inclusive premium offering.

The upgrade will deliver modern amenities with a vastly improved user experience, and greater safety for users. Upon completion of the upgrade, the end-of-trip facilities will be one of the largest of its kind in a commercial building complex within the Southern Hemisphere.

Will the facility be closed during construction?

The facility will remain open at all times. Staged approach to works is being undertaken to have part of the facility available during the construction period.

Based on current user demand we anticipate there will be sufficient lockers, showers and bike parking available throughout each stage of construction.

Where will the entry points be during Stage Two construction?

During Stage Two construction (8 June 2026 – Q1 2027), the following entries will be open:

  • B1 Main Entry – Stairs and bike ramp under the Upside-Down Garden
  • B1 Accessible Lift – Scotch Row, next to Downtown Bowls and Rolls
  • B2 Bike Lift – Scotch Row, opposite Sax Café Lounge & Bar

*Project timelines are subject to change

When will the upgrade of all facilities be complete?

Completion of the project is projected for Q1 2027. At this time, upgraded facilities on both the north and south side will be open for use.

Will a concierge team still be available during construction?

Throughout construction, the concierge team will happily assist you with any enquiries. The TRIP concierge are available Monday-Friday, 7am-8pm.

Their aim is to make your transition into the office convenient and comfortable.

Will there be any dedicated lockers during construction?

To allow for fair use during construction, daily use and weekly use lockers will be available.

Simply swipe your access card on the locker kiosk and follow the prompts to secure your booking.

Do we have enough showers during construction?

Based on current and peak use, there will be enough showers throughout the construction period.

There will be approximately 59 showers during Stage Two construction, and 128 showers upon project completion.

Will there be bike parking available during Stage Two construction?

Bike parking is limited during Stage Two construction (13 June 2026 - Q1 2027). Bike parking will be available on level B1 and B2 of the end-of-trip facilities.

To ensure fair use for all customers, no bikes or bike locks are to be left in the facilities for more than 72 hours, with weekly movement of unused bikes to the B2 storage area.

Will we be able to charge electric bikes?

Upon completion of the upgrade (Q1 2027), there will be a dedicated area for charging electric bikes.

Will the Rolling Fix bike repairs still be available during construction?

The Rolling Fix bicycle tune ups will still be available at the end-of-trip reception desk on the first and third Wednesday of each month – 7:30am-10am.

Please allow 10 minutes to stay with your bike as the mechanic checks over your bike and answers any questions you may have.

For more information, call 0478 518 005.

Will there be dedicated bike racks in the new facility?

All areas will be all-inclusive including bike parking.

Have you improved security for users?

Feedback from users has been that users would like improved security for after-hours use. This has been considered in the new design removing many narrow corridors, increased lighting and CCTV and introducing shower suites near entry/exits. The shower suites and other rooms in the facility will also contain duress buttons to contact security 24/7.

What is a shower suite? Can anybody use these?

With a diverse progressive culture at Barangaroo, we are introducing showers suites for all users. This will be a lockable suite so a user can shower and change in private. Some suites will also contain a toilet.

Is the total facility (north and south) open to all tenants?

All commercial tenants across the Barangaroo precinct will have access to the full facility.

Who do we contact regarding additional queries or operational matters during construction?

A dedicated end-of-trip Communications Manager has been engaged for the duration of the construction. For any queries relating to the end-of-trip upgrade, please e-mail EOTinfo@internationaltowerssydney.au.

How will construction waste be managed during the end-of-tip upgrade?

The builder will implement a waste separation and recycling program to meet the 90% recycling waste requirement.

All construction waste will be separated on-site into dedicated streams (timber, metal, concrete, etc.) to maximise recycling potential. Salvageable materials will be reused where possible or donated to community organisations. Hazardous materials will be safely removed by licensed contractors according to regulations. Monthly waste tracking will ensure accountability, with the builder partnering with a specialised waste management provider to process materials according to high environmental standards.

Will outgoings go up with this new facility compared to current?

We expect the costs of the facility will be commensurate with existing costs using technology for efficiencies and through monitoring use.
