Step up for inclusion with Hotel Etico

Australia’s first social enterprise hotel is on a mission
Hotel Etico’s Long Run To Inclusion is a 400KM endurance challenge from Mount Victoria to Canberra, aiming to raise $400,000 for inclusive employment. This powerful initiative will help create meaningful opportunities for young people with disabilities.
Since opening in 2022, Hotel Etico has trained 53 young people, with 83% securing ongoing jobs. Their goal is to train and employ 30 new people each year, building pathways for independence, confidence and lasting change.
The challenge begins in March 2026, led by CEO and Co-Founder Andrea Comastri, and will finish on World Down Syndrome Day at Parliament House. Together, that is 400,000 steps towards inclusion.
How you can join the movement:
- Fundraise or sponsor: Drive donations, secure partners or chip in.
- Run with them: Lace up and step up — every kilometre counts.
- Host an activation: Run a BBQ or fundraising event.
- Join the crew: Help with logistics, meals or support.
- Spread the word: Post, share and tune in to Hotel Etico’s podcast.
Together, we can turn every step into opportunity.
