National Recycling Week 2026 - Make a Candle, Make a Difference
Join us for a special candle-making event this National Recycling Week, and keep good materials out of landfill
Did you know that over 4 million candle containers end up in Australian landfills every year because they can't be recycled?
This National Recycling Week, we invite you to be part of the solution.
CandleXchange is on a mission to change that with their Return & Swap program and UpCandle initiative, offering a sustainable way to enjoy candles without the waste. Pop down to the lobby, pour your own candle in a 15-minute session, and leave it with the team to set. Your candle will be ready to collect from 3pm the same day.
Please ONLY book one spot for yourself to allow the maximum number of people to participate. If you book more than one session, additional booked sessions WILL BE CANCELLED.
When: 8am - 10am Thursday 5 November 2026. From 10am we may have walk-in spots available while stocks last.

Plus, bring back any used CandleXchange containers to swap for a new one with 30% discount, or donate clean, reusable candle containers from any brand. These donated containers will be refilled and gifted to survivors of domestic violence through the UpCandle program.
